The male MPX-connector should be used for devices that draw current, and the female connector should be used for devices that supply current. Wire color is not really part of the specification, but here is what I use:- GND: Blue/black
- 3.3V: Green
- 5V: Red
- 12V: Yellow
- TX and video: Yellow
- RX and audio: Green
